Stellenbosch University (SU) is committed to provide financial support to students through a differentiated financial support model. Increases in tuition and accommodation fees will be mitigated through financial support to academically deserving, poor students linked to their combined annual household income.

This is according to Rector and Vice-Chancellor Prof Wim de Villiers in a statement earlier this week to staff and students. A web page with information on topics such as funding in the higher education sector, bursary allocations and terms like 'CPI' and 'HEPI', has also been created.  It also contains a link to SU's submission to the Fees Commission.

The Rector encouraged input from students and staff. The email address for feedback is [email protected]
