Parking application 2017

From 1 December 2016 to 31 January 2017 staff members can apply for access to university parking in 2017. This is applicable to staff from the Stellenbosch, Tygerberg and Bellville Park campuses to whom parking is currently allocated as well as to new applicants. Ad hoc staff members who do not have network access, as well as non-SU staff at Tygerberg can apply by means of the form available on the website referred to below. (The forms are available at numbers 1.2 and 1.4 respectively.)

Current parking allocations remain in place until the end of February 2017 in order to minimise confusion at the beginning of the year. All applications will be evaluated during February so that the allocations for 2017 can be implemented on 1 March.

The basic application procedures are the same as in 2015/2016. If your electronic application has been submitted successfully, you will be notified via e-mail. If you don't receive an e-mail notification, the application has not been submitted successfully and you must please repeat the process.

The web page is available from 1 December 2016. Please access it via one of the following routes:

1.      On the SU home page (www.sun.ac.za/english) > Click on Staff  > Resources and scroll down to 2017 Parking Applications. Move the mouse over Parking (below the photograph), and then click on Applications & Changes > For staff.

2.      Via the SU home page (www.sun.ac.za/english) > About us…> Sustainability: Click on the link to Transport, after which a row of links will appear below the photograph. Move the mouse over Parking, and then click on Applications & Changes > For staff.

If you don't wish to apply for parking in 2017, please notify the parking coordinator via e-mail so that your name may be removed from the list.
