​​The SUNStudent Project which has as objective, the replacement of the current student information system (SIS), kicked off on 10 June with Change Management Sessions in preparation of Blueprint Workshops (first phase of the SUNStudent Project). The Blueprint Workshops were facilitated by staff of Serosoft, SU's chosen vendor based in India. Read more about the commencement of the SUNStudent Project at http://www.sun.ac.za/english/SUNStudent/about.

The Blueprint workhops kicked off with an Academia (SIS) demonstration session in true movie style with Siddarth Badjatiya from Serosoft facilitating the session. 

Ankur Jain and Hitesh Gawhade from Serosoft co-facilitated the workshops with Siddarth and Jan du Toit from SU who ensured that the workshops were conducted seamlessly and would achieve the set outcomes.

“I was very impressed with the overall presentation of the Admissions DEMO and Blueprint Workshop's …."MOVIE MODE" - popcorn! It was very informative and interesting, it looks like it will be an interesting system once implemented and will probably make our workload more manageable.
