
SU International short programmes takes off
Stellenbosch University International has partnered with the International School of Management (ISM) offering a new short course for working professionals. Twenty-one participants from countries such as Cameroon, the USA, Nigeria, Zimbabwe, England and Saudi Arabia are currently at Stellenbosch University (SU) attending a two-week business management course. The short course, facilitated by SU International and ISM France in Stellenbosch, forms part of the business school's international MBA. It focusses on 'Innovation and internationalisation of small and medium-sized enterprises,' 'African Economy for Business Leaders,' '21st Century Leaders as Mentors and Coaches' and 'A Systematic Approach to Business Futures' and is presented by lecturers from the University of Stellenbosch Business School and other industry leaders.
The International School of Management is based in Paris, France and New York, USA and partners with institutions in Brazil, India, South Africa and China. The School boasts that many of its graduates occupy senior management positions in various sectors of society.
SU International offers a number of short courses throughout the year. The office has presented 10 short programmes since the beginning of the year, attended by more than 200 international students. These include programmes in education, healthcare, sport science, sociology and international affairs attended by students from Linneaus University in Sweden, University of North Carolina, University of Georgia, Northwestern University and Virginia Tech in the USA. All short programmes are managed by the Global Education Centre within SU International.
