Maties women's football head coach Jabulile Baloyi is getting her new team ready for the football season. She has extensive experience in women's football as she has coached both the u20 South African side and USSA teams at CUCSA/FISU games.

Jabulile's experience in university sport, which she has gained from working at the University of Johannesburg, especially in women's football, is advantageous as she understands how university teams operate and play. She brings her vast knowledge of the game locally and internationally, which will be highly beneficial to our women's team as we expand their skill set and reach higher heights. We are looking forward to cheering our women's teams on the football field.

“I am both humbled and excited to be joining the Maties family, especially at a time of this exciting partnership between Maties and Stellenbosch FC in a venture to grow and advance women's football. The aim is to prove to ourselves, as a team, that we are capable of winning and positively improving our results.
