The International Conference on Children's Rights 2026 brings together scholars, practitioners, policymakers and interdisciplinary researchers to critically engage with children's rights in an age of polycrisis. Under the theme Children's Rights in a Polycrisis, the conference examines how overlapping global challenges – including climate change, armed conflict, forced displacement, economic instability, digitalisation and deepening inequality – intersect with and compound the vulnerabilities of children worldwide. The conference aims to foster dialogue across disciplines and regions, centring both normative analysis and lived experience, and foregrounding children's agency, intersectional impacts, and the relationship between international norms and local practice.
