I-CLT isebenzisana ngenene namanye amaziko eCandelo leLTE (o.k.t. iZiko lokuFundisa nokuFunda (Centre for Teaching and Learning)iZiko leeLwimi (Language Centre) kunye neZiko loCwangciso lwezeMfundo noQinisekiso loMgangatho (Centre for Academic Planning and Quality Assurance), kunye nentsebenziswano neefakhalthi (ngentsebenziswano yenene nabaNxibelelanisi bokuFunda ngokuXubileyo – iiBLCs – kwifakhalthi nganye), ukwandisa amava okufunda nokufundisa abafundi nezifundiswa.

I-CLT ibonelela ngobunkokeli obucwangcisiweyo, isikhokelo kunye nenkxaso kumaqela achaphazelekayo aliqela kwiSU ekudityanisweni kobuchwepheshe ekufundeni, ngokunjalo nangobuhlakani nawo. Uninzi loqeqesho nenkxaso enikwa iCLT ikwiSistim yoLawulo lokuFunda (Learning Management System) esekelwe kwiMoodle (iLMS), ebizwa ngokuba yiSUNLearn. Eli qonga libalulekileyo lisetyenziswa njengendawo yokufunda apho abahlohli kunye/okanye abancedisi bahlohli basebenzisa ubuchwephese ekufundeni ukuze banxibelelane nabafundi, baze bathi abafundi, nabo, benokusebenzisana nabahlohli, abancedisi bahlohli, imathiriyeli yokufunda, imisebenzi yokufunda, imisebenzi yovavanyo kunye nabanye abafundi.
