Support
Wrap-around support
At Stellenbosch University, we provide students with a transformative experience, equipping them to lead and excel in a diverse world. An important part of this experience is the wrap-around support available throughout students’ academic journey. Through the Division Student Affairs, qualified psychologists, psychometrists, and social workers deliver a suite of on-campus, student-centred development and support services.
Students also have access to a range of academic resources, such as the Stellenbosch University Library, the Writing Lab, and the Reading Lab. In addition, the Disability Unit promotes awareness and provides dedicated support for students with disabilities. The Equality Unit further offers services, training, and interventions to combat gender-based violence and HIV/Aids, while also supporting LGBTQIA+ students.
