The Central Analytical Facilities at Stellenbosch University invites applications for its 2026 Postgraduate Winter Schools.
The programme is designed to combine practical, hands-on technical training with opportunities for research engagement, postgraduate development, and potential PhD and postdoctoral recruitment.
MSc and PhD students, particularly students from historically disadvantaged institutions, are encouraged to apply.
What to expect
Participants will have the opportunity to take part in:
- Expert-led, hands-on technical training
- Direct engagement with Stellenbosch University researchers
- Supervisor presentations on funded PhD and postdoctoral opportunities
- Daily networking opportunities
- A closing networking event

Supervisor engagement and recruitment
Participants will be able to connect with Stellenbosch University supervisors who actively use CAF platforms and are recruiting funded PhD and postdoctoral candidates.
Applicants are encouraged to share their CVs and research portfolios in advance.
