You are warmly invited to attend the 6th Open Access webinar in the #BeOpenAccessSmartWebinar series. This session will explore initiatives aimed at advancing inclusion and equity through open access.

Facilitated by the internationally renowned Open Science advocate, Professor Leslie Chan from the University of Toronto (Scarborough). This session will examine how Open Access can be leveraged to amplify diverse voices and foster a more equitable and inclusive research ecosystem.

The webinar will further reflect on the role of Open Access in strengthening the flow of knowledge across communities and to the broader public. It will consider how enhanced access can support meaningful public engagement in discussions and initiatives that advance inclusivity and equitable knowledge sharing, ultimately benefiting society as a whole.
