Our Work
The Centre for Student Counselling and Development (CSCD) has the following focus areas:
Disability Unit (DU)
The Disability Unit is here to support students with disabilities. If you need advice on academic support, solutions, or accessible study materials that fit your unique needs, they have your back. The DU’s activities are guided by the Disability Access Policy of SU.
Our team of highly trained and experienced psychologists, social workers and counsellors provide professional services to promote well-being, personal growth, and academic success. Whether you seek guidance on study techniques, emotional support, or career advice, we are here to assist you. With offices on the Stellenbosch and Tygerberg campuses, and hybrid service options, we make it easy for you to access care that suits your needs. We also offer food assistance to students facing food insecurity and hunger.
Your success matters to us, so please do not hesitate to reach out for support.
