Please note that selection for postgraduate programmes is highly competitive. Meeting the minimum admission requirements does not guarantee admission to the programme.
Minimum admission requirements
Subject to consultation with the lecturers at the Department for Security and Africa Studies, the following is required:
• any BMil degree with Political Science (Mil), Military History or Strategic Studies as major, with a final mark of at least 60% in you major in the final year.

Programme structure
The programme is presented over one year full-time or two years part-time with regular contact sessions between you and your supervisor (depending on the availability of the lecturers). You must attend all scheduled block modules. You must take half of the modules in the first semester, the other half of the modules in the second semester, and the research assignment as a year module.
