Instruments: ThermoFisher Apreo STEM, Leica UC7 Ultra-Microtome  

Description: Equipping a transmission electron detector within a SEM makes TEM imaging possible, although at lower kV than conventional TEM. Here, HepG2 cells were sectioned at 100nm and imaged under STEM mode to visualize autophagic vacuoles in the cytosol.
