Short Courses

The Department of Afrikaans and Dutch offers several credit-bearing postgraduate short courses within the field of language practice and language acquisition. These courses each extend over one academic semester, and are offered as distance learning, but with two compulsory contact sessions per semester on the Stellebosch campus. The courses are therefore particularly suitable for those who want to acquire further skills, but cannot study full-time at the postgraduate level. Short course students who successfully complete all assessments will receive a certificate of competence from Stellenbosch University.
