About us

The Centre for Student Counselling and Development (CSCD) traces its origins to the Bureau for Student Counselling, established in 1965 as one of the first university student counselling services in South Africa. Over the years, the Centre has evolved into an integrated, multidisciplinary service dedicated to supporting students' academic, personal, psychological and career development, empowering them to realise their full potential.
