Stellenbosch University (SU) will issue a final offer based on your final matric results, which are expected to be released after 13 January 2026. This date is tentative and dependent on the national release of results. 

SU will receive the official final NSC, IEB and SACAI results from the Department of Basic Education (DBE). Applicants in this category are not required to submit their final matric results. 

The University may apply additional selection criteria to conditionally admitted applicants. This could include giving preference to those with the highest final matric results or limiting admission if a programme has reached full capacity. 

Accepting your offer 

You will have a two-day window to accept the offer before it expires. Keep a close eye on your email for updates and be sure to check your online status using the Applicant Portal. 
   
Please note that if you receive an offer: 

• You may only register after accepting your final offer.
• Your login credentials will be sent in a separate communication.
• Registration for newcomer first-year students can only take place from 22 January 2026.
